The Strategy

Most agencies would’ve started with Facebook ads and a basic landing page.

We started by building the entire back-end infrastructure John didn’t have.

First problem: he had no lead magnet. Selling AI chatbots directly is a hard pitch. People don’t wake up thinking “I need a chatbot today.” They wake up thinking “My website isn’t converting” or “I’m losing leads because I respond too slowly.”

We created a lead magnet funnel targeting those pain points: “7 Costly Website Mistakes That Are Killing Your Business.” Free guide, simple opt-in form, instant delivery. It positioned Hyfig as the expert who could diagnose what was broken, then naturally introduced the AI chatbot as the solution.

Next: we built the AI chatbot system itself. When someone landed on Hyfig’s site, the chatbot engaged them immediately.

The chatbot didn’t just collect names and emails. It pre-qualified leads before they ever hit John’s calendar. If someone wasn’t a good fit, the chatbot provided helpful resources and moved them into a nurture sequence. If they were qualified, it booked an appointment automatically.

Then we built the automation workflows in GoHighLevel.

When someone opted in for the lead magnet:

  • Instant email with the guide
  • Automated follow-up sequence over 7 days introducing the chatbot offer
  • SMS reminders for anyone who opened emails but didn’t book

When someone booked an appointment:

  • Confirmation email + calendar invite
  • 24-hour reminder email
  • 1-hour reminder SMS
  • Internal notification to John’s team

When someone didn’t show up:

  • Automated “sorry we missed you” email
  • Rescheduling link
  • Follow-up sequence offering alternative times

When someone closed as a customer:

  • Onboarding call scheduled automatically
  • Checklist sent via email
  • Internal notification to start setup

We built 11 different workflows covering every possible customer interaction: appointment confirmations, no-show recovery, onboarding sequences, opt-out handling, sales call follow-ups. The entire system ran 24/7 without John touching it.

Finally, we launched Facebook ads targeting service business owners in Toronto – plumbers, electricians, contractors, real estate agents – who were losing leads because they couldn’t respond fast enough. The ad sent them to the lead magnet page. The lead magnet sent them into the nurture sequence. The nurture sequence sent them to the chatbot. The chatbot booked the appointment. The appointment turned into a sale.

In 30 days, we generated 199 qualified leads at $13.87 per lead. 109 of those entered his sales pipeline. 28 showed up to appointments. 7 closed as new customers in the first month.
